Wow! Off and Running!

Well, what an exciting initiation into blogging! Eric Mack, (my technology cohort/partner) and I were playing around with some test stuff, and sure enough, our links somehow got out there into the blog-viral world! How cool.... Great tip from my friends Robert and Buzz - "be careful what you write - as soon as you do, it's OUT THERE!" I'll be doing a little more formal (ahem) introducing of myself and how I intend to play in this arena, but for now, just know I'm in the water...!

Thanks for your patience and interest...

David

As a big fan of your books, I was excited to hear Scoble was working on you to get your own blog.

Welcome to the blogosphere! (and nice work Robert and Buzz)

Hi David

I was excited to hear that you have started to blog. I already have your feed set up in Newsgator so I won’t miss a thing. We all love hearing from you and look forward to connecting with you whenever and however possible. Hopefully this format works, but regardless of that I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU. The work you do is so important to so many of us, and we really do appreciate the constant effort you make to stay connected with all of us.

Take care,

Darren Young

Hmm, my RSS feed already includes full text and images of everything I put up. What news aggregator are you using?

David - I'm really glad to see that Eric, Buzz, and Robert got you take the plunge. Your insights will be a welcome addition to the world of blogs. Already subscribed and looking forward to a more steady stream of inspirations from you.

David,

From a personal productivity perpective (p^3) it's easier to read small articles in my free time than to find the time to read and digest longer newsletters. Thanks again for making my life easier.

David,

As a long-time GTD'er, I would echo what you have already posted. If it is in the blog world it is out there, it is going to get more comments and more usage than the discussion boards on your website.

I have a request:

Would you/Eric/Robert/Buzz consider putting up a RSS feed with full item posts instead of excerpts? It would certainly fit within the GTD philosophy of fewer clicks. You can use a program called Newsgator to make RSS feeds show in Outlook and work with the GTD plugin.

Newsgator.

Next question then, is what is your RSS feed? Maybe I got on a limited content version.
