Extremely cool! And so is that wonderful article in the July/August Atlantic! Congrats all the way 'round DA.

David - have fun but watch out for tickets! The Mini is a total blast.

Coolio - looks like fun. Doesn't look like you got the sunroof though, ¿por qué no?

Envious. I had one of the originals and this looks to be as much fun.

David!
I have always loved Minis as well (but haven't managed to get one yet....other things are on my "Project" list for now....but it on "Someday Maybe"!!! <G>). I audited your October 03 seminar in Boston (and initially went through MAP in 89 with you at McDonnell Douglas). Check out this REALLY cool website on Minis:

Have fun, man!

I must be car challenged, because I had no idea what it was from the picture. No text explaining it? The comments say it is a mini, so now I have a clue. Congrats!

My thigh might fit in the driver's seat of one of those!
Let me know when they make a Maxi! ;-)

Congratulations...I'm available to babysit whenever you are out of town!! Cliff

"Mini like water" ... Thanks! By the way, there's a reason it's fast becoming a cult... Esp. with my iPOD now set up to play 647 tunes thru the Mini's MP3 plug-in port!

We've got a 2002, and we love it. These are great cars, and Scott Allen would be surprised that he could probably fit his whole self into the driver's seat. He should give it a try!

Re: A line to steal! … you’re welcome! I couldn’t resist it, (well it was that or “What’s the next Austin?")

David, thanks for the spin around the block in your new Mini last night. I now understand why people say that you cannot drive one without smiling.
It's basically an enclosed street-legal (luxury) go-cart!
Enjoy,
Eric

After seeing you project an image of the Mini in Boston per my request, *I've* started to see them everywhere (but I still see Priuses everywhere too!). Contratulations for another completed project!

I'm sorry. This is still the way wickedest toy in the world! Spent a half hour today, tooling up into the mountains around Ojai... this thing loves curves. Sorry, just had to effuse a little bit....

What a fun car! Thanks for the ride, it was great! Once I get my license I'm coming back to take it for a spin ;-) I promise I won't wreck it!
