David, many years ago, my cats. Bit and Byte, use to sleep in my in and out-baskets respectively. Perhaps there was something they liked about the confines of spaces just their size.

My hamster, Nibble, (which is computereze for four Bits or 1/2 a Byte)did not venture so boldy onto my desk; perhaps it was fear of becoming a feline next action.

I wish I had scanning facilities: My New Yorker calendar for February 18 shows an exec at his desk: he is wearing shades, and his in tray is called “bada-bing!” and his out tray “bada-boom!”.
