I am currently re-listening to the GTD Fast CDs, and quite frankly, I am bursting out in twenty different directions with the insights I am picking up there second time around. It’s great to see the "think tank" is still buzzing with more new ideas there in Ojai!

Delighted to hear of your experience. Yes, fascinating thing about all this stuff is the Magical Myster Tour aspects... (or is that, Fool on the Hill?)

Well for me it’s a way to “Get Back” my life!

And just to add: the current nugget I am rolling around in my head is the anecdote of the guy who was being “eaten alive” by meetings. You asked him at what level did he want to have a conversation about these meetings, and he instantly got the message.

I experienced an epiphany at that point: the futility of trying to deal with issues at the wrong level. It elegantly opened out time management from being a linear process to being a three dimensional process with architectural elevation.

We really do have to get into the right mode for each level before we start thinking in that level – bigger life issues just cannot be addressed when you surround your thinking and brainstorming with a one week time frame. No amount of clever organizer usage was going to get that guy out of those meetings. He had to go up top the next level and deal with the roles he had in the company, or even higher, to deal with the place that the company had in his life.
