Love my new digital camera...
When I saw that Buzz Bruggermann had a more pocket-sized camera than me, I was jealous, especially when he made the observation that he was a lot more likely to take pictures for blogging, etc., if the camera fit in his pocket. Duhhh, of course.
So on a trip to Samy's Camera in Santa Barbara for some other stuff, couldn't help getting hooked into the new Sony Cybershot T1. 5.1 megapixels and it's as big as a stack of about 20 business cards. Does MPEGs too. The photos you've been seeing for the last month or so have been from the Sony.

Its funny you should mention the DSC-T1, I recently bought the even thinner version the Cybershot DSC-T7, it's cool!!

I hope people good at GTD are good at FSO as well (Finding Small Objects).
I can see why it's nice to be able to pocket a camera, so I'm not completely adverse. But I don't really understand the compulsion of smallness. My own digital camera is a small box like thing about the size of those point and shoot cameras, and when I start thinking of buying a new one I look at large SLR or those that mimic and SLR design.
To me taking pictures has a physicality, and I like to hold the camera in both hands and feel myself doing it. Positioning a postage stamp size metalic slide in front of a single eye by grasping it between two fingers would feel awkward to me.
But nice shots... thanks for the tip.

Hi David:
The pictures on the web look great. Have you had the opportunity to print out photos, and if so, have you been pleased with the quality?
Thanks.

David,
After seeing various pictures of your garden in the blog, I wondered who designed your gardens? Thanks for entertaining random questions!
Thanks,
Andrew

Garden by Kathryn, David, and our good friend (and elegant garden architect) Paul Hendershot. Check out his site, look in Gardens - Ojai East End - that's us. - David

David,
You are quite fortunate to have such a talented friend who inspires people to live outdoors. Enjoy your summer in the garden, as I'm sure you must, and thanks for posting Paul's information. Garden inspiration is a wonderful thing, and something I continue to enjoy.
Thanks,
Andrew

David,
I LOVE your yard. But, I must admit, if I had a yard that big AND that beautiful, I would have a "next actions" list the size of a garden hose (no pun intended) ;-)
Yikes!
Cheers.

I wish I could have this garden to just sit and watch the green look. Visit my site at the link mentioned.
