New family member
Inherited a stray kitty over the weekend. "Nikos" (below, on his comfy spot on my desk) watches now as I crank through my in-basket, which I've been deliciously ignoring but which now has a bit of a scuzz factor now causing me to get with it...

Very good-natured of you to take in a stray. I really want to go buy a Siamese, but I think I better check out the shelter first.

We do live in coyote-land, and our cats are indoor/outdoor at will. That's why we rescue - we figure they'll have a fabulous life as long as they outwit the food chain; and when not... well, such is the bigger picture. - David

You're a good man. And a softie, too, I see. :)

Diane, if you live near Ojai, pls come and get his sister, she is very beautiful and needs a home. My property cannot hold them all. I am at 805-646-8432.

But David, you must tell us what is on his @David list:
- eat
- scratch
- nap
- repeat the above in random order!

Might you be the David Allen who was in Europe the summer of 1967?

Herb - well, I don't know if I was THE David Allen in Europe in the summer of 1967, but, yes, I was A David Allen in Europe in the summer of 1967. I was traveling back from hitchhiking through the Middle East, on an "independent study project" for my college (heh heh). My girlfriend-at-the-time and I flew back from Karachi into Rome, traveled thru Italy and Switzerland, and I flew back (Icelandic Air) into New York - probably June '67. Did we meet somewhere? - David

One of my cats sits *in* my In-box! When she was young she had the same bat-ears and long legs, too.
