What time is it?

Always amazing how tough it is to fly direct from L.A. to London, in terms of body clock... We napped in today until afternoon, then a leisurely walk around Regents Park.

There's a nice metaphor about jet-lag in 'Patern of recognition' from W.Gibson.

Somehow it seems like we are travelling way too fast for our souls and while your body has already reached its destination its soul is still floating mid-air and across the ocean, trying to get back as soon as it can to the body.

Regards

Pharmaceutical GTD tip: My comments are less poetic. I happened to travel to London that week, as well (from the NY area). I took an overnight flight. I combatted jet lag by 1. taking a sleeping pill (Ambien) at the start of the flight, and 2. taking a wake-up pill (1/2 Provigil pill) upon arrival in the morning. I was reasonably productive and alert the whole day.
