Fall colors in Ojai?
As I'm working in my office, couldn't help but be struck by the lovely iridescent afternoon light outside, bouncing off the fall colors of our Japanese maples, sycamores, and pomegranate... Yes, we do have seasons in here in southern California (you just have to fine-tune your perceptions a little!)

Funny, I'm headed out with a group or 40 or so for an ice fishing event - the lake has 12" of ice on it and the high tomorrow is forecast to be 16 degrees. I think it will take a little more than a little fine-tuning of my perceptions compared to seasons here in Colorado! "Mind like Water" will take on a whole new meaning tomorrow...
