Midwest cold and fun mention of GTD in a blog...
Catching up on email this morning in very cold Dayton, Ohio, where I finished a seminars for the U. Dayton's Executive Development Program. Earlier in the week did an IMS (Institute for Management Studies) session in Detroit, with 170+ people, including lots of Daimler Chrysler folks. Now I'll be off back to Ojai, which one always appreciates after being in the cold Midwest (little moron?) (That's a joke, folks, please don't send hate mail from the Midwest - it's really a lovely place).
One of my staff forwarded me this link to Bill Peschel's blog. I don't know Bill (I don't think...but you never know!) but I like his style...

As a Minnesotan transported to Cleveland, let me tell you, it isn't cold in Ohio! That kind of demonstrates my second point. The Midwest is not a place, it's many places.

David here - Teo, mea culpa. Lots of places in that place called the Midwest! St. Louis is very different from Minneapolis, which is different from....ad infinitum. But they're ALL different from Ojai, California.

It is a point about which many Midwesterners are a little sensitive. I hope just observing it preempts any flame wars.

BTW: here is the permalink to the book review you mentioned.

David; I attended your Friday Session. I had already read your book, and needed the visual assistance for better appreciation of your technique. I've already started by retooling my E Files into @work, @phone, etc.(still have over 150 Emails...I'm going slow) Thanks for the enlightenment.....PS - The weather in the Midwest is crap...no offense taken

Attended your Friday seminar in Dayton and loved it! I came to the Midwest after growing up in Florida and the weather here is interesting. Of course, the snow can be pretty if you are viewing it through a window while sitting in front of the fireplace.
