GTDing in the far reaches

My friends from my presentation at the Air Force college sent me this pic taken in Afghanistan - as they do what they can to ingrain self-sufficiency and security in the local population (and hopefully get our folks back home asap). Maybe GTD is at least making a small dent...

That's a great picture.

Don't buy it -- look at how unworn the book is. He's a newbie, at best. And his uniform -- too clean. Ditto for the hat.

Photo was probably taken out behind the armory during their weekend drill. Pan right, and you'd see the BBQ's.

True believers have books as worn and battered as my combat boots, from daily use, daily inspiration, daily reference.

Shouldn't that be "GingTD"?

The picture's legit. The person depicted is a co-worker of mine. He's only been in-country a few weeks.

I can't speak for why the book looks so new...

I am an Air Force officer myself - credit much of my career success to adopting GTD about a year ago. David - please let me know which AF college you did a talk at - I am joining the faculty at the AF Inst. of Technology soon and intend to spread the GTD word to my students...
