Simply GTD with Kelly Forrister

I teach David Allen's Getting Things Done Seminars and provide individual Coaching for our clients all around the world.

I've been working with David Allen and this methodology for over 15 years. I continue to get excited about how simple, yet profound GTD is and how it can work as an overlay onto pretty much any current tool or system.

You'll find that GTD is for anyone, but not necessarily everyone. You may have your own ways you like to do things. That's just fine. There's no "all or nothing" with GTD. There is benefit to doing it all as a systematic approach, but you can also relieve some stress, feel more in control and more productive with any of it.

From time to time I will talk about specific tools and products I use (myself and in client settings) to enhance GTD. If you do want to experiment with anything based on what I suggest on the site, please trust your own guidelines on whether that's something to try or not. Only you (and your IT folks) know what will work best with your systems.

While I appreciate that there are many companies out there developing software and services around GTD, please do not use my blog for a sales pitch of your product.

The purpose of this blog is to give the GTD community my perspective of GTD as both a student and presenter of this work. I love what I do and I'm happy to share tips, tricks, strategies & my tales from the road as a David Allen presenter. If you are new to the world of GTD, check out What is GTD? It gives you a good overview from the man himself about what this methodology is all about.

Feel free to browse, comment or ask questions.

Cheers,

Kelly
