Hi,
I posted this message in the general forum, but didn't yet found a solution, so here it is:
I read such good things here about Bonsai.
However, I own a ppc.
I didn't like listpro and now I'm using trenotes.
any suggestions for a better one? (already tried streamliner)

Try:
Tombo <--- Has a desktop component as well
http://tombo.sourceforge.jp/En/
ADBIdea
http://www.happyjackroad.com/AtomicDB/pocketpc/ideaLibrary/idea.asp
Notes Explorer
http://www.meshavi.com/product_ne.htm
I like Kopsis Streamliner.
I know you tried it, this is for all the others out there.
You'll find a review and links to it here:

I am currently using PocketLiXt. It works OK. I liked it because it allows you to add all the 'normal' note types plus alarms, hyperlink notes, and notes that link to other notes within PocketLiXt. Unfortunatly, there is no desktop supported application.

I just wish there was something better. Something like Bonsai or ShadowPlan's for the Palm. But I just can't go back once I got a Pocket PC.
