GTD and Velocity

Any thoughts on how GTD can assist in speedier turnaround of tasks, client enquiries, etc? I know it DOES facilitate speedy work, but I am curious to see how anyone logically links the two concepts - GTD and Velocity - together.

A well-organized system (GTD or otherwise) reduces the overhead for any task. You know what you need to do, when you need to do it, and what materials you need, so instead of worrying about that stuff you can concentrate on actually doing the task.
