I’m looking for a headset to a basic (home) desk phone – not a cordless, necessarily. Can you recommend a phone or headset system that is almost universally adaptable?

Any tips or suggestions would be deeply appreciated!

Thanks!

I use a Plantronics headset. Mine cost me $60 CDN. The reason I like it is because it has an adjustable volume built-in, so I can adjust it instantly without having to touch my phone. This is it:

Plantronics Headset (http://www.plantronics.com/canada/en_US/products/cat1210095/cat1220035/prod1200003)

To my knowledge, all Plantronics headsets are quite good.

Take care,

Bob

I may not have been clear in my original post. I know there are lots of phone headsets out there but I am looking for a DESKTOP phone at home that will accomodate one of these (Plantronics or other) headsets. It's the phone, not the headset thatI'm trying to figure out.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ooohhh, got it...I understand now. I use a Uniden phone system. This one:

Uniden Phone System (http://www.uniden.com/store/itemdetail.cfm?item=B-DCT646-2)

I bought this one at Costco, but the one I bought came with the base station and 2 extra headsets. I had Logitech a while ago but it sucked so I returned it and bought the Uniden. I have had no problem with the Uniden. Good sound, lots of features. I am very happy with it.

Hope that helps.
