How often does everyone else process email. I look at my inbox all the time - this causes me to be distracted from my work. How do you handle email? Fixed processing times?

It's worth a read. Some of the most important ideas:
1. get rid of any mail notification -- only check mail when you decide to.
2. aim for an empty inbox
3. use automatic filters when you can
