When doing the Weekly Review do you only look at your Calendar (for any uncompleted past items and any upcoming future actions) and the NA lists or do you also examine the whole contents of the tickler file? If I read the GTD book right, David Allen doesn't mention looking at the tickler file.

I look at the current tickler file and any previous days that I might not have checked. The whole point of a tickler file is that future items can be ignored until they reappear.

No, you do not look in your tickler file during weekly review. If you are using the tickler file as described in the book, you have only put things in the tickler that you do not want to see until a later date. So, looking at it weekly would really be defeating it's purpose.

Thank you. It makes sense to me now. :)
