We're about to inform you that you could try a newest version of TaoNotes 2007.
It's definitely suitble for managing projects/next action. More user-friendly interface and less bugs. ;-)
It's your privilage to decide is it valuable software or not. But at least you could test it:

Problems with downloading are gone.
Still there is no good help manual. But it will be ready soon.
