almost everything is in the title, I'm french, I'm very interested in GTD but reading the entire book in english is hard.
So do you plan to have a french translation of your book Getting things done.
I recommend to ask firstname.lastname@example.org to be sure that your question is read by davidco.
BTW the Davids only french translation which I found is "Pret pour l Action", but it seems to be currently unavailable.

thank you for your answers, I'm going to ask to customerservice.
PS : I bought ready for everything in french a few weeks before and that's why I was asking if a french translation of GTD was planned.

There is no French translation of "Getting Things Done" at this time. Viking-Penguin is the publisher and when someone wants the book in another language they purchase the rights to do that translation from Viking, so far no one has come forward to do this. I did hear from Viking last week that they are likely going to have the book in French in 2008 so that is good news! "Ready for Anything" is published by a Canadian company. It is still in print as far as we know.
Is it possible to sign up for a list somewhere to be notified when the French version is available?
I'm American, but I have friends who would like a French version. They are like thidal.gtd: interested, but reading the entire book in English is too much.
