Thanks for putting this together and making it freely available. I'm going to try these principles and see if they can tame my Hyde side next time I lose something. I'll have plenty of opportunities to try them out.

Glad to provide it. As for taming your "Hyde side," try Principle Three: "The 3 C's" (Comfort, Calmness, Confidence). The crucial thing is to get into the right frame of mind, before beginning the search for a lost object. Break loose from Mr. Hyde!

I've said it before on this forum (albeit a year or two ago), but I heartily recommend reading Professor Solomon's book. I've used his techniques, and they really, really work!

Thank you for the testimonial. The techniques DO really work, and the book tries to be a complete (and entertaining) guide to the art of "findology."
