If anybody has used a customizable database system to track GTD info, I'd be very interested to hear about their experience.

I've read GTD and am in the process of setting up my space (I'm waiting for my labeler to be delivered). I've also taken some time to learn the basics of MS Access and confirmed that it would be a useful tool for many things including tracking and keeping relationships between different types of GTD info.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere. I tried searching to no avail.

Johngb you can read Ismael Ghalimi implementation on sales Force on the following link, maybe the closest thing.

John,

Way back before I discovered GTD I spend a great deal of time developing a tweaking an access db to manage my stuff. It was a lot of fun, but I also wasted a lot of time.

Rather than develop your own app, you may want to consider one that's already developed. A fairly comprehensive list is here: http://www.priacta.com/Articles/Comparison_of_GTD_Software.php
