Anyone know of a replacement for the native BlackBerry memo pad application similar to NextAction ?
I just moved from a Palm Treo to a BlackBerry Curve. I've hear of NextAction to replace the native task application, but also need a memo pad replacement. The BlackBerry memo pad application has the same cumbersome filter implementation to view items by category. I use Outlook Notes with categories for checklist and reference lists.

If you are looking for a GREAT set of applications for GTD that replace (and soon to integrate with ) the blackberry task and memo apps check out http://www.rexwireless.com/
Look at TODO Matrix and Idea Matrix.

I have and they look good, but I can't do without Outlook synchronization.

I really don't know why they write "GTD" in there. sure you can do GTD with it but you can also do GTD with the orignal BlackBerry Tasks application. It is just not really productive.
Don't get me wrong, the guys at rexwireless make nice software, but it is not what it is supposed to be :)

Look again - there are features that are specific to GTD written into the app (ToDo Matrix) as well as for Franklin Covey devotees...there's also a white paper on the site that discusses the applicability to GTD in some detail:

Agendus for Blackberry was just released. I have no Blackberry experience at all, but you may want to take a look. www.iambic.com
