I'm on board with the GTD system, but can't quite wrap my head around the entire system yet. I have the 42 folder tockler system, an alphabetized refernce file systems, and I installed the Outlook add-in. If I have a "project" folder, and delegate a task to someone else, and Outlook task is created, likely with a project tag. Is it necessary to maintain this digital project file and the hard file?
Has anyone else found difficulty merging paper and digital systems?

You need 43rd folder (12 folders for each month + 31 folders for each day in the month).

If you have items that only exist in hard copy, you'll need a hard file, otherwise I'm not sure it serves any purpose.
As long as there is only one place that something can be, using both paper and digital storage should not be a problem.
