You are so right--nothing is more important, or more precious!
I'm happy to report that my mom is doing well. She has a very treatable form of cancer and is responding well to chemo. I am deeply grateful that she lives close by (I grew up in Louisiana and now live in Oregon) and that I am able to see her often and do things to help her and my dad. It was tough to move then up here a few years ago but so worth it!
