Due the abundance of information out there about "Getting Things Done" (GTD), David & Co. has responded with a web page that provides an official definition of this term: http://www.davidco.com/what_is_gtd.php

KeySuite has become my Palm Outlook companion. I was along-time Agendus user (dating back to the original Newton Message Pad when the program was called Acttion Names) but found the inability to sync with all of my Outlook fields and categories pretty frustrating. KeySuite is my choice in the...
sorry this is off topic, but i didn't know who else to ask. My Palm Zire 71 keeps turning on in my pocket (and in its case). Anyone know if there's a keylock feature? i've lost the instructions but checked the website - no dice. arthur
quick question - on the calendar page, how do you get the tasks to line up by category? thanks! arthur b
Hi guys, this is my first post on the forum. I've been using the GTD methodology for a while now and it is great! After much thought (and flipping and flopping) I decided that the greater capacity, reminders and searchability of the PDA outweighed the flexibility, week-at-a-glance and forced...
Does anyone know when the upgrade for Outlook 2003 is coming out? I need it bad.
I don't have outlook, so I don't really understand how one uses it to do GTD. Here's my question though. I assume there is some sort of Todo list function - "Tasks?" that you can use to assign categories to your next actions. Is this right? The second question then becomes, if I am using...
What are the BEST software tools for implementing GTD on a desktop computer. (I do not have a PDA)
I switched over to a PDA a few years ago. I’ve never regretted the switch for to dos and contact info, but the calendar is a different story. Tonight I put one of those large (24" X 17") laminated block type calendars on my refrigerator. It just has blank blocks and can be customized to serve...
Hi Folks, Looks like I've got to send my Sony desktop replacement notebook back to Sony for a warrenty repair. That means I've got to get another machine to get me through the 2 weeks of wait for the machine to come back. Insead of just getting a second, and ultimately redundant, notebook I...
I noticed in a previous post that several posters wanted to know how to open up Outlook's Tasks in a new window, and the solution offered was to right click the Tasks folder and click "open in new window." Yes, that works, but you do have several other options. The easiest method is to...
:( I have a Palm Zire that was running Palm software. I liked the Outlook 2003 so much I decided I wanted to sync to Outlook. I also was running the trial version of the GTD Outlook Add-in. I found that I didn't really need it because I rarely have tasks that come as e-mail. So I uninstalled...
I am helping a friend with their implementation of GTD and they want to use a Filofax. I see how it can be done, much as with any paper version, but was curious if there was anyone here who is using the Filofax system. Thanks, Alan
I have searched Microsoft & this site as well as Google; does anyone how to print multiple manual Journal Entries in Outlook without opening each one at a time? :D
I was wondering if anyone knows how I can accomplish this. When I process my email inbox using the GTD add in and I assign an action and project to an item it gets moved to the action folder. Later, when I am done with the item and I check complete the item goes away. There are many times I want...
any reccomendations on a BlackBerry service (e.g., Motient, Aether, Cingular).. Tough to tell which have the best coverage areas and pricing.
Somewhat OT, but can anybody recommend a good Outlook book that has a large section on using tasks and other features useful for GTD? Thanks! Taxgeek
I came across this whilst implementing Bill Kratz's system in Outlook and synching across to Agendus on my Clie. The To Dos on the Clie, in the Contact section, contain the name of your 'Project' When you click on this contact/project name, Agendus asks you if you want to create a new contact....
My Tablet arrives next week. Looking for Tablet PC user experiences with GTD and a tablet.
Does anyone else have a "Sales Route" that has a plethora of variables? How do you use your Palm to track/manage/update your customers? I'd like to find the answer within the bundled software versus an additional application. Keep it simple....sell stuff.
Folks: Just went to a PDA a month ago. I am using a basic Palm Zire 21. The only disapointment so far is that the alarm is not audiable in a production environment. Does Palm make any models which will vibrate as the alarm feature?
