  1. PDA vs Pocket PC

I am using a Dell pocket PC, although it seems most are talking about Palm based systems. Are there any pocket PC users out there who have experience implementing this system on there handheld?

  2. Microsoft OneNote

I am new to getting things done. I am working on developing my system using the new software called one note. It appears like you can create the entire list system in a unified place. I would be interested in collaborating with someone and developing templates that we all could use. Please e-mail...

  3. Opinions Please: Life Balance for GTD?

All - I'm considering "tweaking" my Plain Vanilla Palm GTD Set-Up a bit. The main thing that I want to do is to move from the "Horizontal Focus" to the "Vertical Focus" quickly and more intuitively. Life Balance seems to be the simplest "bolt-on" piece of software to emable me to do this....

  4. PPC third party apps for improving GTD

I'd like opinions on Pocket Informant vs. Agenda Fusion. The issue I'm trying to solve is maintaining my Categories for notes and tasks after syncing my PC to my IPAC PPC.

  5. Outlook 2003, Palm ..... maybe a PocketPC?

Hi there. Having (successfully, :D ) started with GTD a few weeks ago, I switched to Outlook 2003 recently. All is well, but... The categories of the ToDo are not exported correctly to my Handspring Visor (Deluxe, Palm Desktop 4.01). Rather, everything new is put under "unfiled". This...

  6. GTD with Above & Beyond

I'm demoing the Above & Beyond PIM, using Simon's GTD implementation. I really love it, it's helping me immensely like nothing else has. But.... It really doesn't synch to the Palm. Don't ask ... it was a nightmare and I would never try it again. Even if it were to work properly, it's a very...

  7. Palm frustrations

I'm a loyal palm user for 5 years and just bought a new tungsten. my corporate network makes a DIY install impossible and when i left it in their hands they stuck me with the program Intellisync. I hate it. The worst part seems to be the glaring oversight of not being able to synce both business...

  9. Older Palm vs newer Palm

I bought a Palm 3xe abt 2 1/2 years ago when I first started with GTD. I stopped using my Palm abt 3 months after. I had broken the glass on my screen and was not comfortable using it. Could someone tell me if the new Palms have unbreakable screens? Are they any easier to use. Can anyone tell...

  10. What the latest "techie" is wearing....

All - I think this product will appeal to the "bigger boys" who want "bigger toys" more than the ladies here on the GTD Forum.... ...BUT - they do make this product for ladies as well. http://www.scottevest.com/index.shtml For me - it's ringing more of a "G.I.Joe" or "Bond, James Bond"...

  11. Day Notez -- Has anyone tried this with GTD????

Hi, I was browsing Handango and came across a journaling program that purports to "replace the right-hand page in your old paper planner." That sounded niffty because I was trained in the Day Timer system, and am now trying to learn GTD. Has anyone out there used Day Notez?? If so, how do...

  13. Making Lists Easier

Ever since I was introduced to David Allen's principles I have been trying to apply them as much as possible. 14. Power supply for Brother PT65 labeller

I have just acquired a Brother PT 65 labeller. Unfortunately, the otherwise excellent office supply company don't stock the power supply. Three questions: - How long can I expect 6 shiny new Duracell batteries to last? - where can I find a power supply in the UK? - How much will it cost? ...

  20. Actioneer-like tools...?

Remember this add-in? It was awesome and took shortcuts to a new level. Unfortuantely it does not seem to work with the GTD-add in. Any suggestions or a work around? Or another add-in that is compatible? Thanks.
