Due the abundance of information out there about "Getting Things Done" (GTD), David & Co. has responded with a web page that provides an official definition of this term: http://www.davidco.com/what_is_gtd.php

I'm managing 8 direct reports. I'd like their projects to be seen as delegated or somehow separated from my projects. I was thinking about OnHold status but that would mix with my Waiting For and Someday projects. Is there any tips for tracking delegated projects in OmniFocus?
Im looking for a free windows based Mind Map software, that can allow images (drag & drop) and can be scaled down. I currently use Freemind which is great, but can't resize images down in the software. Any recommendations ?
Seeking recommendations for a good reliable WIRELESS all-in-one printer, scanner/copier. Prefer one where the replacement cartridges do NOT cost an arm and a leg. For SOHO – small office/home office use. Any suggestions? Thanks! Kevin kevinquinley@verizon.net
I'm on a MAC and use Microsoft Outlook for MAC 2011. It doesn't have To-Do lists. Is there a special set-up guide for MACs? Or is there a Add-in for the Outlook available? Thanks.
In OF you can print the next actions with the project title all as one long list, but is there a simple way of printing the project list in the sidebar without having to take a screenshot of it ?
I need some ideas, I use the GTD softwear on my computer/outlook. however, I take my IPAD where ever I go. Any idea on how to move my Project/Action list onto my IPAD so it is with me?
Apologies, I *know* this has probably been discussed many *many* times before, but I'm hoping for some help..... Until now, the Filofax has been the core of my system. At the moment I keep diary, next action lists, etc all in the FF. I've never kept my contacts there, because like most people...
I've been using Contactizer Pro but it died. I desperately need suggestion for an application that will import *address book, and *mail entries, along with customer's *pdf files. That way I can see everything all together. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! A plus would be a...
Hi all, Just thought I'd share the solution I found to something that was annoying me when I looked at my notes in "notes list" view. I couldn't stand seeing a preview of the first few lines of each of my notes. I only wanted to see the subject. I looked on this forum but couldn't find...
Hi everyone, First off, I want to make it clear that I've read all of the forum rules and I'm not attempting to sell anything here. This is a genuine call for assistance from fellow GTD'ers. To give you a quick bit of background, I've been a keen GTD user since 2007. I got a promotion to a...
I remember David talking about a few of them in one of his audio lectures..
I have read the GTD book twice, listened to both the GTD and “Making it all” work audio books. I have collected, emptied my inboxes and organized my reference files. I think I understand the “Areas of focus”, “Projects” and “Next Actions. I am currently using Microsoft Onenote for all my GTD...

I use OmniFocus for iPhone. I mentioned that my next actions don't fit in one line of he app so I can't see all the text. I can read the full text if I click at the next action and open it. Is there an option to see a next action in more lines so I could see all the sentence?
I learned about GTD over 9 years ago and used it for a bit. Then I lost my job and things slowed down a bit and I lost my momentum. Recently, I picked it all back up again and have just started beginning to make the system work for me. My biggest problem in the past was getting the tracking...
So I got an iPhone about a year ago. I've been using google Tasks to manage my lists, but I find myself resistant to using them, and I know why--it's just not flexible enough. I often find that I'm offline and need to add something, or I'm processing and I don't have a strong enough signal. I can't...
Hi folks, After doing some research, I downloaded the free version of Thinking Rock. Naturally the process of getting started resulted in some questions, which is when I discovered: They've suspended new wiki members "because of spam" their "all users" contact us email doesn't work there...
Came across a pretty nice voice-to-text capture tool for Android users. Called VocaNote. Essentially it's a phone based voice recorder that uses the Google/Android voice-to-text engine to translate your voice note into an email or SMS message. The paid version (~$2.00) allows for up to 7...
Here is one for those skilled in tweaking Outlook... One of the preferred ways of viewing the tasks (to do's) is to sort them "Asscending" by due date. This way the most urgent tasks appear on top... The problem is that the tasks with no due date (Due date=None), are sorted first, effectively...
