What a great thread to read!
GTD gives me the ultimate time with my friends and family. Instead of having half a mind on things in front of me needing to be done, with my trusted system in place I can be fully present and in the moment when I get that precious time with my kids. Its the best gift I can give to myself!

Hi, everyone
For me; Being calm, when the s..t hits the fan.
Typically (in construction) (project management/supervision) mid project, there are countless tidbits of information, and minor problem solving, that are bombarding you all at the same time.
Then in the midst of this, comes the big problem, or serious issue.
In the past, with less than stellar results, I'd have these bits of information written down, in a haphazard way, or worse yet, try to remember them.
Then when the big issue presents itself, one's blood pressure tended to go up.
Instead the unclogged mind, has a better chance of solving that issue.
