Hi Matt,
Thanks for your post. And great to see that we both live in Europe. Maybe we can meet up someday to exchange ideas about GTD and Evernote.
Hi Kenny,
Basically I have notebooks for the different lists in GTD. On my blog I describe in details how it works for me: http://www.fokkekooistra.nl/blog/tag/evernote.
Hi,
I use Evernote for all GTD related list management.
Hi all,
I have been using eTask by DFAworks to sync Tasks between Exchange (Outlook) and the iPhone/iPad. There is both an iPad and iPhone version.
Another tip: check out...
I agree that Due dates (aka Deadlines) need to be embedded in your action lists. However I do put deadlines on my Calendar as well. And for some high impact deadlines I also put an extra 'almost'...
+1 on that one.
I have been using Evernote as my primary GTD system ever since they started. It is for me the most versatile and powerful way of managing my tasks and projects.
Hi,
I use what they call 'binnenmappen'. You can get them here. They are the closest to manilla folders I could find. I have bee using those for 5 years now.
Hi,
What do you miss about EN for the purpose of GTD? I use EN exclusively and don't miss a thing. It is perfect for me.
Wrote about my setup on my blog.
Hi John,
You might want to look at the SCRUM method voor software development. There are a lot of resources on the web on that method.
But even in a variable software development project you...
Hi John,
I have been struggling with project for some time but eventually I have found that pretty much all of my projects are best managed through the simple approach of just on big project list....
Hi John,
Missed this post so here is a somewhat late response. I used to enter in the Next Actions notebook a set of actions I wanted to finish within 24 hours.
I am not entirely happy with...
Have you tried the nested tags feature? I have little or no use of tags in my workflow as you have read. For ideas and ramblings I prefer just lists.
I have written a 4 part series on using GTD with Evernote. Here is the link to the last post with links to the first three at the bottom of that last post.
Hi Zaki,
Nice to see you here. I have been testing TimeSvr and was particulary pleased by the swift and quality service. It doesn’t surprise me at all GTD'ers are jusing the service and asking for...
Hi Longstreet,
The amount of @contexts depends on the amount of todo items. I find myself deleting and creating contexts over time. I have had times where I had a lot of contexts but now I only...
I would suggest Evernote when you have an iPhone and want to work with both a PC and a Mac. On my blog I have written about using Evernote as a GTD system. You can find the url in my tagline.
Not sure about the iPhone client but on Windows and the Mac you have a local copy and you don't need to be connected to be able to use Evernote.
Not (yet) an iPone user but check out the online notetaking app Evernote. They also have an iPhone client.
Take a look at those two, not quite sure if it will suit your needs:

Could you share with me how you have set up Evernote for your GTD process? I am looking into doing all of my tasks, lists and projects in Evernote.
