Interesting . . . will have to play around with this sometime, after we finish our 2-month house painting project. Believe me, if you embark on a room-by-room painting project, for the entire house,...
I'm starting to use Evernote as a notebook. I'd been using Noteshare by Aquaminds, but I've been very, very disappointed by their approach to community support (by that I mean connecting with other...
Has anyone tried it? How good is it?
When the sun is up, I'm up. I'm very sensitive to light. Ad I'm deaf, the lamp is plugged into my alarm clock. There are also two windows in my bedroom and we only have pull-down shades (I've...
With labelers, you get big letters that stand out easily. Especially when you're in a hurry and need to find that file. As for the label roll costs, I had good luck buying these off eBay - much...
I need to get better at doing more reviews. This is my biggest downfall as I'm easily distracted, being at home.
Umm . . . do you keep Outlook locked up? The purpose of password programs is that you can only access these using a master password. Anyone can go into Outlook and take a peek at your password...

I agree with negotiating hard deadlines. Sometimes, it's best to just draw a line and set limits.
Yup. ;-)
Each drawer should be no more than 3/4 full. I'm hoping I can locate an affordable 4-drawer filing cabinet before I reach that point . . .
Craigslist. You can sometimes find old file cabinets that offices want to get rid of for something like 25 - 50 dollars, depending on the condition of the filing cabinet.
I don't have a lot of money, i.e., no job, so I have to look for used file cabinets on Craigslist. Just need one that is within reasonable driving distance.
Unfortunately, such file cabinets are very, very rare if you want to buy a new one these days. Believe me, I've looked all over the place. Fortunately, there are some good tips in the thread that has...
I see that others have chimed in with excellent advice, so I'll just reinforce the main points.
Labelers. Get one, the best you can afford according to your budget. Brother labelers are great. ...
If you use OmniFocus, there's a script that does this already. I haven't had a reason to use this script, but it definitely is useful when you have similar projects that occur on a regular basis.
