Actually enjoying this discussion. "Why GTD?" is a fair question and thanks for everyone's answers so far.
Don't know of any academic studies, but I believe that GTD has been tested more than a...

Hi Jachin,
Sounds like you're entering data in Money 2005 and trying to open that file in Money 2001 (4 versions earlier).
I don't use MS Money, but in general, Microsoft makes minimal effort...
Just wanted to say thanks to all, and especially to Liz Vernand, for the heads-up about the last chance to buy this CD set.
Was on my "someday/maybe" list. Now it's ordered.

FWIW, here's what the columns were called:
Part 1: #680 ‘Plan, Do, Review’ -- and a whole heck of a lot more!
Part 2: #681 Improving the rules instead of changing them.
Hope this helps you to...
Here's what part two says to do:
Did you miss part one? If you want both parts of "Plan, Do, Review," go to www.gitomer.com -- register if you’re a first time user -- and enter PLAN in the GitBit...
Jeffrey Gitomer has an interesting column this week that reminds me of some of the things that David talked about in his Leveraging Focus and Vision seminar.
You can find it at:...
Saw this in today's Wall Street Journal Online:
Feeling Stupid? Blame Your Computer
Talk about unintended consequences: the emails, text messages and instant messages that supposedly make...
Just discovered one change from the old forum: registration is now required to post.
No big deal, just surprizing because the old forum had words to the effect that "registration is not required...
Jeffrey Gitomer's latest column about how to make daydreaming work for you reminds me of the kinds of things that David spoke about in the Leveraging Focus and Vision seminar.
If you're curious,...
Hoping to "hit the ground running" at the Leveraging Focus & Vision seminar in Burlington, VT on August 5th. Can anyone suggest some worthwhile things to read in advance?
So far, I've started...
I love my Brother PT-65. Got one for work and then one for home. They go on sale regularly at Staples for $19.99 and occasionally as low as $14.99.
I prefer the fonts to the higher-end Brother...
Hi,
1) Can some of those "projects" go on your "someday/maybe" list, at least for now?
2) Have you checked out David's new weblog at david.davidco.com yet? His entry on March 24th, "Working a...
Congratulations on getting started! What's great about GTD is there's really no way to "mess up". Consider your system a work in progress that you're free to change, fine-tune, and experiment with...
The best material I've found on "doing" comes from Mark Forster:
His home page: www.markforster.net
And his newsletter archive: groups.yahoo.com/group/coaching
And his two books.
It's a real...
My number one use is for bills. Bills get opened, verified, and filed in the tickler to "arrive" 8 days before the due date, when they get paid.
In these days of the $35 late fee, my tickler file...
