ellobogrande,
Btw if I'd be in the "war zone" I don't think I'd be doing much predifiened work at all, I'd be doing work as it shows up and then review the system and next actions when I'm in a...
ellobogrande,
I don't use project list to review my actions either. To select next actions daily I use separate list which is constantly generated on the fly by filtering with 4 criteria...
What do you think about combining single actions and projects in the same list and reviewing them all at once?
I use Evernote separately just for a single purpose, as an inbox. It's cross platform, you can forward emails, photos, monitor a folder, save webpages, articles and etc.
I don't keep anything in...
My point is that there is just no reason to deliberately stop after you have actually finished your thinking and processed stuff. It's a good idea to organize right away and the organize step should...
It's blurred once you have the GTD system set up and your system doesn't need any tweaks.
But when you are starting with GTD or changing your lifestyle you will have to clearly separate those...
Sounds similar to Personal Brain, except you don't really need any other tools when you use it.

Since I've been very heavily using Personal Brain for quite a while now I think I completely got the overall concept so I could distinguish what are main differences between Personal Brain and...
"However all projects should really align and connect with the actual Areas of Focus like friends, family, health, finance, reading, information management and so on (about 15 Areas) instead of...
You got my idea exactly correct with "what answers do you want your GTD system to be able to answer".
About the mechanics:
I actually decided to keep Areas of Focus and Areas of Responsibility...
What do you think if I would split 20,000 ft Level into 2 separate horizons?
From GTD book:
"Your job may entail at least implicit commitments
for things like strategic planning, administrative...
I tried using Producteev actually before I knew about GTD. And failed with it completely because I used it for general to-do lists obviously, non Gtd...
There are much better apps for GTD...
An update:
Since I got comfortable with the expanded view in PersonalBrain and found some easy ways to use thoughts as operators and also different types of link I've realized that 99% of stuff I...
ArcCaster,
I am not using MindJet.
I am using LucidChart/Visio for Flowchart type of diagrams where I need to specify a direction of a link and also be very specific about AND/OR connections and...
