All of Natara's software has been for PalmOS. Recently they converted one of their most popular apps to PPC and hinted that other apps may follow. I would guess they would try to do Bonsai sooner...

I haven't looked in detail but I believe Easy2Sync supports thumb drive syncing as well - choose the "Bridge File" sync option and keep the bridge file on the USB key.

I use Outlook 2003 as a standalone and was able to install the project form without any problem. I don't think you need exchange.
