    Default Cultural differences and GTD

I'm wondering if anyone has information about/experience with implementing GTD in cultures that aren't really task-oriented. e.g. places where the "manana" attitude is prevalent, or the "bokra" attitude (Spanish and Arabic respectively, for "tomorrow," I believe).

I guess I'm wondering if working a system like GTD could _motivate_ people to get more done in a culture where putting things off is the accepted norm. Dunno if I'm making any sense. I'm sure someone will let me know if I'm not.

There's an interesting thread about this in the "Creating a GTD Culture" discussions on GTD Connect: http://www.davidco.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9897
