where do i put a next action to buy something when im waiting to get the money to buy

I would not use waiting for lists for this. That's reserved for things that are on somebody (or something) else's plate. For me, waiting for's are not things I do, but trigger of things others do.

You are waiting for someone else to do something, in this case, you are waiting for them to get you the money...

Imagine you are buying a house, and you have to wait for the bank to give you an answer about a loan, then your project doesn't suddenly become a someday/maybe. You have the project going on, and it is in waiting for-modus, because for this particular phase, it's out of your hands. At the same time you mighgt have other next actions for that same project, like contacting an immo, or visit houses.
