New-ish software/app to consider - Trello
I know there are a dozen threads about the "best" software/app for GTD. I uncovered a new-ish one tonight that looks to have a lot of promise. Since it hasn't been mentioned here much before, I thought it worth bringing to your attention.
It's a "whiteboard with super powers". You create a board for a project, then cards for each whatever within your project. Each card can hold a checklist, due date, image, labels, etc. Plus is has team capabilities.
Also Android and iPhone/Pad apps.
The whole thing is free. What's not to love?
Can't wait to hear what you all think.
It's a Kanban board, another technique for dealing with projects. There are several of these available online (AgileZen, Kanbannery) although I have to admit that Trello is very nice looking. Would be more difficult to use this for an entire GTD system than a list manager but it might be good for a segment of GTD, for example - project plans.
If you try it out as part of your system I would be interested in seeing what you have done with it. I personally will pass on it.
Had a look at it but wasn't particularly drawn to it in all honesty. As OF user mentioned above, it looks more suited to project tracking. The individual day to day task management would be clunky for smaller items. So really the question to ask would be, is there mileage in it for project management or would you get more from something like Evernote?

Thanks Tommy. Busylife is rather interesting. I think if you are interested in using Evernote as a "database" for GTD, a program like Zendone which is a list manager that syncs with Evernote might be better than syncing a Kanban board to Evernote. Alternatively, Nozbe works with Evernote as well.
Note that I do not use any of these to manage my lists but I do use evernote as a digital reference database.

Edit: Sept 22, 2012: Zendone is in private beta according to their website. Their blog has been promising beta release for months. So no way to do anything with this software today.

Last couple of days I gave Trello a good look. Definitely not suitable for GTD. Period.
There's no iPad app. There's only iPhone app that is scaled up on iPad - waste of the iPad screen.
