I have stuff that I want to do that can only be done in 3 weeks times but I don't know if it should go in the calendar or someday/maybe.
I use my calendar ONLY for things that absolutely have to be done ont eh that day or a placeholder for things that have restricted times that I am considering doing.
So a dentist apt is a calendar item as it's a fixed time and date.
Similarly a concert I might attend is a calendar item as well in the future even though I have not committed to it yet because if I schedule something in that particular time I cannot go to the concert.
However if it's something that I may do that has a more flexible start date I either put the physical paper in my tickler file or perhaps set a project with a start date of the first date I could do it.
So right now I have a project of mark orchard in fall with a start date of next week. We may not do it but if we do we need to start then. I have a paper invitation to a business open house that I may or may not go to in my paper tickler file for that day. When that day comes I'll make the decision based on energy and what else is going on whether to attend or not.
