Default GTD in office environment without your mobile phone/ipad or reliable internet access

    Aloha everyone-
I wanted to see if anyone worked in an office where they were not permitted to have their mobile phone/ipads/laptops in the building (in their office spaces) and internet connectivity could be limited (either due to internet site restrictions as well as "outdated" OS/browser capabilities). I previously used digital tools (iphone/RTM and Google cal/tasks) for GTD but could not necessarily use these tools at my office. I'm trying a hybrid approach but keep getting tempted to go all paper -- or keep a completely separate "@office" paper systems. Does anyone have any other tactical insights on how to implement this? Thanks.

I seem to recall an article in the GTD connect section (you can get a 2 week free trial) about someone who works in a secured facility with classified data. His work GTD system was paper and left in the secured area while his personal one was outside the SCIF. I don't recall if his personal one was paper or electronic but the key point was he had total separation of the classified part of his GTD system from his personal one.

    Might you do something similar?

That is a case where I think paper would be a good choice.
