Do you guys keep your action reminders or just trash it, throw it away when the action is finished?
Hi, gtdnubcake!
I throw the completed actions list (e.g. a Calls List where all of the calls have been made and checked off...) into my weekly review folder. Then, during the review, I go back over it to catch any follow-ups I missed or remind me of any other related actions I need to do.
THEN I trash it. Quickly and unceremoniously.

I use Frixion pens for my lists. If the page is still in good shape, I microwave the paper (the heat erase the Frixion ink) and re-use it. Recycle bin if it's too worn out from rubbing (erasing).
Before I microwave/recycle the pages, those completed actions are recorded elsewhere though -- either in the project support file or my journal. That allows me to backtrack weeks later when I wonder if / when I made that call.
I used a Time/Design system for years and tossed my lists. I can't recall an issue with that strategy. If you need some of that data later I'd suggest using other lists - e.g. "Projects Completed" or filed away in reference.
How did you capture that thought?
