This posting board is Palm compliant using AvantGo. You can't post using it, but you can read everything. Even the icons come over no problem.

If any of you Palm folks are not using AvantGo, you are really missing out. "How do you keep up to date with all the NASCAR point standings?"

AvantGo puts ANY website on your Palm and updates it every time you Sync. Works both wireless and not.

Getting any website into avantgo is very easy. Go to https://ami.avantgo.com/mydevice/autochannel.html
to read how to do it.

I have also put a copy of the instructions below so you "get the idea"

You can create AvantGo AutoChannels "on the fly" for your handheld from a button or a bookmark on your web browser.

Creating a Link Button
With your links toolbar visible (select View > Toolbars > Links from the browser menu), drag the AvantGo AutoChannel™ link below to the toolbar. Clicking on the button while browsing a website will let you add that website to your handheld device.

Creating a Bookmark
Right-click on AvantGo AutoChannel™ link below and select "Add to Favorites...". Choosing this in your favorites will let you add the website you are browsing as an AvantGo channel on your handheld.

I've managed to synch the discussion boards with my Palm Vx, but the text spreads over the width of the available screen. Is there a way to make it more readable?

I find it pratically useless in its current format.

tap menu bar
options
preferences
make sure "Show Tables" is not checked

will probably change your entire AvantGo experience for the better

Yes, it is evil how big it gets and how quickly. I do not have a solution for that, sorry.
