Your 'system' cannot be designed in a day. It has taken me about 5 years to really be 'on top of it all' and even still I have bad days every now and then. The best thing to do is pick your favorite tools and get started. If your tools have to change to adapt to your system then take the time to make them work for you. I have used several software apps and tried various configurations before I discovered what works for me. Everyone is unique and your experience will be different from mine. Just get started and work it out as you go. Review weekly and adjust accordingly.
BTW - I have a Dyson (the red model). Best vacuum I have ever owned and my house has never been so clean. It is well worth the money!
