I am a bit suspicious of how my Outlook 2003 is set up and if it is causing problems with the GTD plugin. The basic problem is that I have 2 mail folders called "Personal Folders" -- one is at the top of the file hierarchy and has a Home and Outlook today view associated and the other is at the same level but without the Home and Today properties.
When I installed the GTD plugin, it created the various @action etc. folders in the lower level personal folders, while may mail and mail folders are at the "top level" personal folders. This means that stuff is getting sort of mixed between the two folder systems.
I read the support forum and the MS Outlook site about this issue and the suggestions to eliminate one of the Personal Folders has not worked (I can't delete or rename either and trying to move everything to one of the Personal Folders made GTD stop working.
My sense is to archive off my taks, calendar, and contacts and then try a clean Outlook install and then set up GTD and then restore the tasks, calendar and contacts.
Anyone else have this problem?
Suggestions on how to fix this?
