Hi Nathan,
For me, personally, it would work. E-mails tend to catch my attention a bit better, but an RSS feed would be better than notices every six weeks or so.
The one downside to a New Product specific RSS feed, is that it would take up a spot in my RSS feed list. I use the RSS feed functionality of the Opera web browser, and right now it is full (according to my preferences). If I add one more, I would have to remove a current feed, or turn it into a scrollable list (I really prefer to see the whole list at a glance, rather than scrolling or using folders and sub-folders).
I tend to keep a pretty tight list of RSS feeds (which is currently at 30). Aside from keeping things tidy, I have found that is the quantity of feeds that maintains a balance between me absorbing information that I can use, versus being inundated with a plethora of nonstop news.
That said, I value finding out about DavidCo products as they are released, so I would likely end up using it if it is available.
Thanks for your time!
Jim
