I think the pattern that I'm taking out of them is that there is no one exact right answer, and that people tend to use what works best for them, which makes sense, since all of our brains work a little differently! For the moment I think I'm going to do some things based on some of your recommendations just so that I can get things moving again, and we'll see how well it ends up working.
I think you've got the right idea here. The main thing is to keep plugging away, and find the strategies that work for you. These forums are a great way to get diverse opinion's on what works (or doesn't work) for a wide array of practitioners.
